Do I already need to be working out?

No - lots of people just don’t know where to start.   Working together in a private space can help in taking those initial steps to becoming more confident around navigating gym equipment.  Training with guidance to ensure good posture and technique.  With help and advice around a holistic approach to training, so that you get the best out of your visit to the gym, be that with a trainer or self-guided once you feel confident in using equipment and training effectively.

Do you cater for all age groups?

Yes, I have trained and work with people as young as 12 and as old as 89. Everyone is welcome, training with me could be to help with mobility and flexibility or recovery from an accident, injury or surgery, a sporting challenge or goal, or to boost mood and confidence. Everyone is welcome and subject to a health screening induction, training can commence.

Can I buy a gift voucher for a friend?

Yes we offer vouchers online. If you would like to buy a personal training session or a massage instead the voucher is adapted accordingly to suit the person you are gifting for.

 

Are you COVID secure?

A thorough and rigorous COVID safety implementation procedure is in place.  Your health, safety and wellbeing are paramount.  My full guidelines will be sent to you prior to you attending your first appointment.

What happens if I have to cancel?

Cancellation on the day requires full payment. If you are able to provide 24 hour’s notice, then wherever possible your appointment can be rescheduled.

How often do I need to exercise or meet with a personal trainer?

You do not need to train with a personal trainer every week. Appointments are scheduled to fit in with your needs and budget commitments.

 

Can I set the time I workout or want to train?

I offer very flexible training times and aim to accommodate your working needs or family commitments. If you’re tight for time and don’t think you physically can make a session during the week we can go online and train, we can reduce the session time or I can send over a workout plan to help guide you.

What should I wear to train?

Wear clothes that are comfortable and stretchy, a supportive sports bra and for the gym clean good supportive training shoes.

Are appointments confidential?

Yes. Any documents are kept securely in line with GDPR. Anything that is discussed during your sessions is confidential.

 

How long before I will see an improvement or changes to my body?

This depends on how much time you have to dedicate and invest in you.  I will review your progress every 6 – 8 weeks. Following these results, I can tweak training sessions to ensure that you continue get the best out of personal training with me.

What should I wear to a massage appointment and what should I expect?

Focusing on treating you, the room is quiet and warm. Following a consultation, you will be left in private to get ready for the treatment – it is a good idea to wear clothes that are warm and comfortable. Preparing for the treatment is always discreet, respecting your privacy. Any appropriate aftercare advice is given at the end of the appointment.
